About the Programme

This programme offers an exceptional opportunity for motivated individuals who are passionate about public health, statistics, and making a meaningful impact through data-driven research. It provides rigorous training in statistical theory and biostatistical methods, with a strong emphasis on real-world application in public health, medical, and life sciences research.

Designed to prepare graduates for both professional practice and further academic study (such as a PhD), the programme balances theoretical foundations with hands-on experience. The degree requires the successful completion of 36 credit hours. Depending on their performance on the MSc, there is a possibility for the successful candidate to continue and complete a PhD study.

Eligibility criteria:

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Biostatistics, Science in Actuarial Science, Computer Science (with statistics/math electives), Bachelor of Science in Data Science and Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics or any relevant course from an accredited
• Good preparation in mathematics & statistics, including at least courses like Calculus I & II
• Computer skills (data management, statistical software) are
• Acceptable academic
• Competent written and oral communication skills
